Terms of enrolment — Florex Academy

1. Organiser

Florex Academy courses are organised by FLOREX INNOVATIONS S.L., NIF B56995061, Calle Colón 8, 03001 Alicante (Spain), email info@florex.es, phone/WhatsApp +34 695 365 462 (hereinafter “Florex”).

2. Subject

Florex Academy runs in-person floristry courses at its studio in Alicante. This is private, non-official training: on completion you receive Florex Academy's own certificate confirming the programme completed; it is not an official qualification or a certificado de profesionalidad. Enrolment does not include any guarantee of employment or professional results.

3. Enrolment and payment

A place can be booked in two ways:

• Full payment of the course through the online store.
• Place reservation with a deposit of 20 % of the course price. The balance is due before the course starts. If the balance is not paid before the start, Florex may release the place, and the deposit is non-refundable.

Prices are shown in euros and include applicable taxes as well as flowers, materials and tools during the training, unless expressly stated otherwise.

4. Cancellation by the student and right of withdrawal

• Cancellation notified at least 7 calendar days before the start of the course: 100 % refund of what was paid.
• Cancellation notified less than 7 days before the start: refund of what was paid minus 20 % of the course price (the reservation amount), to cover organisation costs and the blocked place.
• Once the course has started, or in case of no-show, no refunds are made.

Cancellations must be notified in writing to info@florex.es or by WhatsApp at +34 695 365 462.

In accordance with article 103.l) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (Spanish Consumer Protection Act), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure-related services where the contract provides for a specific date of performance, as is the case with courses with a set start date. The more favourable cancellation terms described above apply in any event.

5. Transfer to another group

Up to 7 days before the start, the student may request, once, the transfer of their place to the next group of the same course, subject to availability and at no extra cost. If the course price has changed, the price at the time of the original purchase applies.

6. Cancellation or changes by Florex

Groups are small (4–6 people). If the minimum number of participants is not reached, or in case of force majeure, Florex may postpone or cancel the course. In that case the student may choose between transferring the place to the new dates or a 100 % refund of what was paid. Florex may make minor changes to the programme or occasionally substitute the trainer; this does not give rise to a refund.

7. Intellectual property

The programme, workbooks, presentations and other course materials are the property of Florex Innovations S.L. They are provided exclusively for the student's personal use. Their reproduction, distribution or use to deliver the student's own or third-party training is not permitted.

8. Image and data protection

Photographs and recordings may be taken during classes. Their use for promotional purposes is governed by a specific, voluntary consent signed separately; not signing that consent does not affect the training. Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and LO 3/2018; controller: Florex Innovations S.L. (info@florex.es).

9. Studio rules

The student undertakes to follow the safety instructions when using cutting tools. Florex is not responsible for personal belongings. Any relevant allergy (pollen, plants) must be notified before the course starts.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be heard by the courts having jurisdiction under consumer law. European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
